Where to Buy Kombucha in Hong Kong
Aug 30, 2026
Buying kombucha in Hong Kong used to involve visiting three health shops, opening several suspiciously quiet fridges and hoping the bottle at the back had not been there since the previous tenant.
Things have improved.
On The Wagon is brewed locally in Kennedy Town, and you can now get it by our free chilled home delivery, brewery collection, or at a growing list of restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels. Here are the easiest options.
Order kombucha online in Hong Kong
The most direct route is our online shop. I know, I know, you’d prefer to grab it from the supermarket, but hear us out here. We will send you the freshest Kombucha you’ve likely ever tasted, at a spectacularly good price and genuinely free delivery (on 6 bottles and up!). Choose a size, pick your flavours, then select a one-off order or a subscription.
Wednesday is our main free delivery day. We cover many built-up areas of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon with our own team, while refrigerated courier delivery helps us reach further afield. Express options and the latest delivery details are shown at checkout and on our delivery page. Express delivery is a token HK$5 fee
Every order leaves the brewery cold. When it arrives, put it back in the fridge on the same day. No need to panic about not being home. We will leave it outside your door and seriously, chill out, you can pop it in the fridge later when you get home, it’s not a problem.
Collect from our Kennedy Town brewery
If you live nearby, or simply want to see where all the fermentation is happening, you can collect an order from the self-service refrigerator outside our brewery.
We are at 16A, Kwong Ga Factory Building, 64 Victoria Road, Kennedy Town. The building entrance is on Sai Ning Street. We strongly recommend to WhatsApp us first, as our brewery is not always manned. Alternatively, we do have a fridge outside our brewery door where you can help yourself 24/7. Still a good idea to ping us on WhatsApp first.
Find kombucha at Hong Kong restaurants, cafes and hotels
You can find On The Wagon at selected restaurants, cafes, bars and hotels across Hong Kong. Some serve bottles, some pour our kombucha on tap, and others use particular brews in cocktails or pairings.
The list changes as venues and seasonal flavours change, so our live Locations page is always the best source. Check it before crossing the harbour on a journey motivated entirely by fermentation.
A few retail options
We do have a small number of retail partners, as well as our brewery fridge in Kennedy Town. These are useful when you want to pick up a bottle or two without waiting for delivery. A reminder that retail locations typically carry just a few of our most popular flavours, not all of them.
Again, check the Locations page for the current list. Small-batch stock moves, and popular seasonal bottles have a habit of disappearing once everybody discovers them.
What should you order first?
A mixed box is the easiest introduction. Pick something bright, something tea-led and something a little unexpected.
Lychee Oolong and Jasmine Green Tea are fresh and approachable. Earl Grey is smooth and aromatic. Hojicha and Assam & Darjeeling show more of the tea itself. Malt & Hops is for anyone who enjoys the character of craft beer and would like an alcohol-free option that still feels grown up.
A subscription is handy if kombucha becomes a regular part of your fridge. It also prevents the disappointment of discovering somebody else drank the last bottle!
Buying for a restaurant, cafe or hotel?
We deliver directly to hospitality partners around Hong Kong. The range is locally brewed, naturally sparkling and made to give non-drinking guests something genuinely interesting to order.
We can arrange a tasting and help with flavour selection, storage, service and menu wording. Visit our wholesale page or get in touch with the brewery.
Ready to try it? Build a box in our online shop, check the Locations page for a glass nearby, or join our email list to hear about seasonal releases before the more organised kombucha drinkers get there first.
